Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 28, 2026
Data collection
The current version of WristShutter does not require an account, collect personal information, use analytics or advertising, or track users. It does not transmit personal user information to the developer.
Your selected capture mode and previously paired camera identifier are stored locally on your Apple Watch to support preferences and automatic reconnection. The app does not access or upload your photos or videos.
Bluetooth communication
WristShutter uses Bluetooth locally to discover, pair with, and send remote-control commands to compatible camera hardware. Bluetooth permission is required for these functions. Camera and connection information is used on your watch; it is not sent to the developer.
Third-party services
The app has no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. It may rely on Apple and watchOS system services required for installation, permissions, and application functionality. Apple’s handling of its services is governed by Apple’s privacy policies.
This website and support
This website contains no analytics, advertising, tracking scripts, or account system. Its hosting provider may process standard request information needed to serve and secure the website. If you choose to email support, your address and message are used to respond to your request; please avoid sending sensitive information.
Children’s privacy
WristShutter does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other app users.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s practices change, this policy will be updated with a new effective date. Any new data collection will be described before it is introduced.
