The practical details
Terms of Use
Effective date: September 28, 2026
Using WristShutter
WristShutter is a camera remote utility developed by Fatih Akpınar. It requires a supported Apple Watch, Bluetooth access, and compatible camera hardware. Features depend on your camera’s capabilities and settings; compatibility with every Bluetooth camera is not promised.
Your camera, your responsibility
Use the app lawfully and respect other people’s privacy. Keep your equipment secure and check the camera to confirm important photos or recordings. Wireless connections can be interrupted, so remote commands may not always complete.
App Store license and purchases
For copies obtained through the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a separate license is provided. Purchases and refund requests are handled through Apple under its applicable terms. These notes do not limit your statutory consumer rights.
Updates and availability
The app may be updated to maintain compatibility or improve reliability. Camera firmware and watchOS changes may affect operation.
Privacy and contact
See the Privacy Policy for information about local Bluetooth communication. WristShutter is independent software and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Apple or camera manufacturers.
